We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex and high-impact technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both traditional and agile project management methodologies. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with company goals and deliver value to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage the constraints of the project including but not limited to cost, time, scope, and quality.
- Assemble and coordinate project team members; assign individual responsibilities.
- Prepare and manage detailed project plans, reports, and schedules.
- Use project management tools and techniques to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
- Solid technical background with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, with a history of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth in project management.
