Head of Sales – Space, Aeronautical and Cryptographic IT Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead our IT sales division, focusing on the space mission operations, satellite operators, drone/air/space traffic management, ground station operators, communication solutions providers, government agencies, and international organizations sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology sales with a deep understanding of the space and aeronautical industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate and expand our presence within the space mission and aeronautical sectors.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on sector-specific goals and strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, establish strategic relationships, and negotiate contracts with key industry players, including satellite operators, government agencies, and international organizations.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the space, satellite, and aeronautical sectors.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Work closely with the product development, marketing, and customer service teams to align offerings with market needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sustainable financial growth by developing and achieving sales targets and strategies.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, specifically in IT or technology sales with a focus on the aerospace, satellite, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of the space mission operations, satellite, and aeronautical industry, including technological, regulatory, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, and motivate a skilled sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and drive business development.
