On March 20, 2025, Decent Cybersecurity participated in the event “Austria as an Innovation Hub – Business Opportunities for Slovak Companies” held at KULTURAMA, Račianska 22/A in Bratislava. The event, organized by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, attracted a wide range of companies eager to explore possibilities for business expansion into Austria, especially into the dynamic and innovative Vienna region. Our company was represented by our Senior IT Consultant Pavol Krcho, PhD, who engaged with key stakeholders and industry leaders on the opportunities Austria offers to forward-thinking companies like ours.

Event programme
The morning began with a warm welcome from Bettina Trojer of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Slovensko, setting a collaborative tone for the entire event. The program continued with informative sessions that outlined Austria’s strengths as a business and innovation location. Birgit Reiter-Braunwieser from ABA – INVEST in AUSTRIA shared insights into why Austria, and especially the Vienna region, stands out in Europe in sectors like information technology, GreenTech, and Life Sciences. Presenters from the Vienna Business Agency and ecoplus detailed how companies can tap into the region’s resources and infrastructure to scale internationally.

One of the most valuable takeaways came from the expert panel, which highlighted legal and tax aspects of setting up business operations in Austria. These sessions provided clear guidance on how Slovak firms can navigate regulatory frameworks and establish a local presence with minimal friction.
The event concluded with an open networking session, where our representative, Pavol Krcho, connected with Austrian business experts and discussed potential partnerships and market strategies. Among those interactions was a meeting with Marwan Ajam Oghli from Tachyum – underscoring the regional relevance and collaborative spirit of the gathering.

Decent Cybersecurity at the Event
For Decent Cybersecurity, the event reaffirmed Austria’s role as a gateway to the DACH region and highlighted the increasing demand for cybersecurity and quantum-resistant solutions in cross-border business environments. Attending such targeted events helps us stay informed about regional developments, evaluate expansion potential, and form valuable international partnerships. Our mission to strengthen digital resilience across Europe aligns closely with Austria’s push for technological innovation, making our presence at this event both strategic and promising for future growth.
As cybersecurity becomes central to every industry, participation in events like this ensures we remain a step ahead. We look forward to exploring deeper collaboration opportunities with Austrian stakeholders and expanding our impact in central Europe.
